In–Home Rehabilitation Services
Integrated Rehab Professionals is a rehabilitation company that has been providing services to community clients since 1992 and was incorporated in 1998. IRP has Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers and provides in home assessment and treatment of clients in the community. We are located in Pickering and we provide Rehabilitation service to clients in Durham Region and have in the past serviced Scarborough and North York. On site is an outpatient physiotherapy clinic that provides physiotherapy and massage therapy.
The Director is Angela Dye who is a Registered Physiotherapist and was a staff member of the Durham Region Home Care Program now known as the Central East Community Care Access Centre - Durham Branch. Integrated Rehab Professionals has grown from two therapists to twenty-seven therapists in the last ten years. Our Service Providers are experienced in home assessment and treatment. Our team of highly qualified professionals focuses on quality care by ensuring that we meet customer and client needs, using best practices and promoting client independence through client centered and goal oriented services. Integrated Rehab Professionals provide integrated services by therapists who are professional and experienced.
Integrated Rehab Professionals has volunteer representation on the Central East LHIN Durham West Collaborative. Since July 2007 and looking forward to 2008, Integrated Rehab Professionals aims to re-align to a new organizational culture and focus on Seamless Care for Seniors, Chronic Disease Prevention and Management and Mental Health and Addictions in order to follow the framework of the Central East LHIN. Service Provider Personnel of IRP focus on training clients to self-manage, engaging Caregivers in client’s care.
Integrated Rehab Professionals has:
- 27 Community Therapists: Registered Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Social Workers,
- 6 Service Providers being staff of the former Durham Region Home Care Program.
- 16 Service Providers have over 15 years of experience in the field of community rehabilitation.
- 16 therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists are authorizers for Assisted Devices, (ADP authorizers).
Integrated Rehab Professionals’ Teams include front line therapists and managers. Their objectives include initiatives involving:

- Client Safety
- Seamless Care for Seniors
- Mental Health and Addictions
